We are looking for a detail-driven Electrical Proposals Engineer to join our Business Development and Sales team. What You’ll Do
- Lead the costing and preparation of electrical, control, and instrumentation (EC&I) components for major tenders
- Engage with the engineering team to ensure technical compliance and accuracy
- Liaise with suppliers, installation providers, and service partners to secure competitive pricing
- Coordinate technical and commercial adjudications of supplier proposals
- Consolidate engineering and drawing hours into detailed cost breakdowns
- Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the tendering process
- Ensure all submissions align with ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Prepare seamless handovers to project teams post-award
What You’ll Bring
- Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 10+ years of tendering experience, with R60M+ electrical scope involvement
- Deep understanding of EC&I systems—MVSG, transformers, MCCs, PLCs, SCADA, etc.
- Proven experience with ISO 9001:2015 processes
